Richard joined Morgan Hemp 1986, and is Managing Director of the company. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and is a Registered Auditor.
Richard has over 25 years experience in providing business advisory services to clients and deals with a wide variety of clients ranging from multi-million pound turnover manufacturing companies to solicitor practices. His speciality, however, lies with property development companies, having advised many local construction companies on how to maximise growth potential and tax efficiency whilst minimising business risk.
Martin joined Morgan Hemp in 1990 and is a Director. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Martin specialises in advising small and medium enterprises, advising on business management and development. His client portfolio is varied and as such he has a broad commercial overview of many business sectors. His portfolio includes companies with multi-million pound turnovers to GP and dental practices.
Martin also specialises in personal and corporate taxation and is responsible for our Trust, Estate and Inheritance Tax clients. Martin has a thorough knowledge of his profession, but possesses the rare quality to be able to communicate that information clearly and succinctly.
Mark joined Morgan Hemp in 1990 and is a Director. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Mark specialises in small and medium enterprises as well as dealing with all aspects of corporate and personal taxation. Mark can advise on business start-up, and offers advice on business plans as well as profit forecasting and cash flow analysis.
Mark also specialises in all aspects of VAT compliance, and has an in depth knowledge of VAT legislation.
Mark's client portfolio offers him a broad understanding of business sectors and the daily challenges that they face. This knowledge, gained over 20 years, enables him to advise and guide his clients through any issues they are faced with, offering clear and jargon-free advice.
Gillian Davies is a Director who originally joined the company in 1983 and returned in 1991 following a career break.
Gillian uses her three decades of experience in the profession to head up the Audit Department. She specialises in larger limited companies and also sole traders, and partnerships. She is also able to offer advice on all aspects of tax including self-assessment as well as corporation tax for larger companies.
Gillian's vast knowledge of Audit regulations allow her to provide audit solutions to her portfolio of audit clients with a number of those companies that are members of international groups and subsidiaries of companies listed on the FTSE 100.
Richard joined Morgan Hemp in 2000. Richard is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Richard is the Audit Manager and a Director.
Richard specializes in providing audit solutions to small and medium sized companies as well as dealing in all aspects of personal and corporate tax. Richard’s current portfolio of audit clients include UK SMEs with a number of companies that are members of international groups and subsidiaries of companies listed on the FTSE 100. In addition, Richard also works with our solicitor clients to provide pro-active tailored advice to remain compliant with the requirements of the SRA Accounts Rules.
Richard’s experience gives him a wide range of skills and knowledge of many business and risk issues across multiple sectors, which allows him to expertly deal with the challenges faced by UK businesses.
